My all-time favorite item: the English classic Barbour jacket. Never can one label it as a fad or a trend. This sage wax jacket captures the essence of classic elegance. There is nothing more chic than a Barbour jacket paired with skinny jeans, a plain tee-shirt, and black flats.

Sofia Coppola, screenwriter and director, exemplifies modern minimalism. As Amanda Brooks states in her marvelous style guide, I Love Your Style, "She is a breath of fresh air." Coppola is a disciplined dresser, hardly ever begging for attention. In one interview, she humbly remarks, "I'm more interested in looking than being looked at."
